Chando currently lives in New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College when she became an actress. Chando was the very first Maddie Coleman of the television soap show As World Changes. The character was played by Chando between 2005 and 2007 before returning for a few months, in 2009 at the end. Alexandra began her career as an actor in 2002, when she was cast as Jenna Harper on the TV Series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her debut TV performance after three years. Chando was first seen on television in True life (an American documentary) at the end of 2009. Later, in 2009 she appeared on Sherri, a TV show. Also, she acted as Annabelle in two episodes of Glory Daze, an American comedy/drama television series. In addition, she has appeared in Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
