Chando lives in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College and became an actor before. Chando played Maddie Coleman, the lead character of As the World is turning from 2005 until 2007, and then returned to her role for a brief period of time beginning late 2009. The following year, she was cast on the American soap opera for television which was telecast at CBS, As the World Turns as Maddie Coleman.
