Dina Meyer was born within Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing junior high, she moved out of Queens to Dix Hills Long Island. Two of her brothers are Gregory the elder brother of her and Evan. The first time she was in the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling between the ages of nine and 16. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the similar training received by Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. After moving to Los Angeles, she got her first part in the Beverly Hills 90210. Soon after, she scored the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts and established herself as an athletic actress. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to get a regular part on Friends.
